SignHouse allows you to assign signatures and other fields to specific signees when sending a document for signature. This feature ensures that the right person signs the appropriate field in the document. In this documentation, we will show you how to assign fields to signees in SignHouse.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to your SignHouse account, upload a document, and navigate to the edit page.
- Add signees to the document
- Drag and drop any of the field blocks to an area of the document.
- Click on the field block to prompt a dropdown.
- Click the "Myself" option, which shows the signees added to the document. (The "Add/Edit Signees" option is also available at this stage.)
- Select the name of the signee you want to assign to that field.
Congratulations! You have successfully assigned a field block to a signee.
Note: Once assigned, you can choose to make the assigned field a "Required field" or not.
